Easter Egg Nests

An easy and delicious Easter recipe for the kiddies!

Ingredients:

200g dark chocolate

200g milk chocolate

6 wheat shreddies

100g butter

100g golden syrup

1 packet of mini eggs

Method:

  1. Line 1-2 baking trays with baking paper.

  2. In two seperate bowls, break up the dark chocolate and the milk chocolate.

  3. Over medium heat, heat together the butter and golden syrup until melted and hot (don’t allow to boil).

  4. Pour half the mixture into the dark chocolate bowl and the other half into the milk chocolate bowl. Leave for 2-3 minutes. Stir each bowl to combine.

  5. Crush 3 wheat shreddies (biscuits) into each bowl. Stir to combine.

  6. Place a spoonful of mixture onto a lined baking tray. Let the mixture fall naturally so resemble a nest. Add 2-3 mini eggs to each. Place in fridge and refrigerate until set or overnight.
